Quality Guarantee

If we make it wrong, we remake it free. No arguments, no fine print, no exceptions.

Our Promise

Every part that leaves JDL Innovations is checked against your original CAD file. We verify dimensions, material, and finish quality before packing. If something doesn't match your specifications — whether it's a dimensional error, wrong material, or surface defect caused during manufacturing — we will remake the part at no cost to you and ship it priority.

This isn't a marketing promise we hide behind terms and conditions. It's how we operate. We're engineers who have built a business on precision and trust. Our reputation depends on every part being right.

What's Covered

We Will Remake Free

  • ✓Parts that don't match your CAD file dimensions
  • ✓Wrong material used (e.g. mild steel instead of stainless)
  • ✓Surface damage caused during manufacturing
  • ✓Incorrect bend angles or positions
  • ✓Missing or incorrect holes/features
  • ✓Shipping damage (we will replace at our cost)

Not Covered

  • —Design errors in your CAD file (we cut what you send)
  • —Incorrect material/thickness selection by customer
  • —Normal laser cutting characteristics (heat-affected zone, slight edge taper)
  • —Cosmetic expectations beyond standard finish quality

Not sure if something is a defect? Send us photos — we'll be honest about whether it's within normal manufacturing tolerances or something we should fix.

Our Quality Process

1

Design Review

Every order is reviewed before manufacturing. We check for manufacturability issues (thin walls, tight radii, small features) and contact you if we spot anything that could cause problems.

2

Material Verification

We verify the correct material grade and thickness before cutting. Mill certificates are available on request for traceability.

3

In-Process Checks

First articles are measured against your CAD file. Bend angles are verified with digital protractors. CNC parts are checked with precision instruments.

4

Final Inspection

Completed parts are visually inspected and spot-checked dimensionally before packing. Any defects are caught before they leave the workshop.

5

Careful Packing

Parts are individually wrapped or separated to prevent transit damage. Heavy parts get reinforced packaging. Tracking is provided on every shipment.

Documentation Available

Material Certificates

Mill test certificates confirming material grade, composition, and mechanical properties. Available for steel, stainless, and aluminium.

Certificate of Conformity

Formal CoC confirming parts were manufactured to your specifications. Includes inspection results and sign-off.

Inspection Reports

Dimensional inspection reports with measured vs nominal values for critical features. Available on request for precision work.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the quality guarantee cover?

Our guarantee covers all manufacturing defects including incorrect dimensions, wrong material, surface damage caused during production, and parts that do not match the submitted CAD file. If we make the error, we remake it free.

What tolerances do you guarantee?

Laser cutting: +/- 0.1mm on cuts. Bending: +/- 0.5 degrees on bend angles, +/- 0.5mm on bend positions. CNC machining: +/- 0.05mm. 3D printing: +/- 0.2mm. Tighter tolerances available on request.

How do I report a quality issue?

Reply to your order confirmation email or contact us at [email protected] with your order number and photos of the issue. We respond within one business day and will either remake or refund.

Can you provide material certificates?

Yes. We can provide material test certificates (mill certs) for any steel, stainless steel, or aluminium parts on request. These confirm the material grade, composition, and mechanical properties.

Do you offer certificates of conformity?

Yes. We can generate a Certificate of Conformity (CoC) for any production job, confirming that the parts were manufactured in accordance with the specified requirements.
